Step 2: From the Insert tab about the Word ribbon, go through the Clip Art button.

Step 3: The Clip Art panel should certainly be visible around the right side from the application. First, expand the dropdown box under Results must be and uncheck everything but Clip Art. Although this step isn’t completely necessary, it’s going to speed up your quest time a lttle bit.

Step 4: Next, expand the Search in dropdown list and select which locations you want to include in your quest. In this example, I am leaving Everything checked so that I can search as broad an array as possible. Note here, you will get far more results if the computer is coupled to the Internet since you will also have usage of all in the clip art available from Office Online.

Step 5: Enter an account of what you need to search for in the Search box. Here, I’m just performing a general hunt for Christmas, however, you can narrow this down in case you are only considering images of reindeer, Christmas trees, or some different, for that matter.

Step 6: Select an image you want, and click on it. It will appear in the main a part of your document. Resize the style as needed either by dragging the borders from the picture to a brand new location or utilizing the resizing technique explained here.

If the look you’ve chosen can be a black and white outline, you’re done which enable it to print the coloring page now. However, if you selected a graphic with color, you will find there’s few more steps to visit.

Step 7: With the picture selected, open the Format tab under Picture Tools for the Word ribbon.

Step 8: Click for the down arrow close to Recolor to expand that menu, and select the Grayscale option under Color Modes.

At this aspect, in case you are happy with the appearance of your coloring page, it is possible to stop and print it. However, sometimes the look may still be described as a little dark colored. You can lighten it inside following step.

Step 9: Expand the Brightness menu, and adjust the brightness to your satisfaction. In this particular example, I chose to boost the brightness by 30%. The amount you choose will depend for the image you’re working with and your personal personal preferences.
Now, the coloring page is fully gone and ready to print. If you want a bit more variety, try adding several images to the same page. For some extra fun, print out the images on cardstock paper to ensure your hand-colored drawings might be sent out as holiday greeting cards, or use labels to ensure your kids can color their unique stickers.
