Step 4: Next, expand the Search in dropdown list and select which locations you wish to include in your search. In this example, I am leaving Everything checked in order that I can search as broad an array as possible. Note here, you will get far more results in case your computer is coupled to the Internet since you will also have access to all of the clip art available from Office Online.
Step 5: Enter an account of what you need to search for inside Search box. Here, I’m just conducting a general hunt for Christmas, however you can narrow this down if you’re only interested in images of reindeer, Christmas trees, or another type, for example.
Step 6: Select an image you want, and click on it. It will appear inside the main a part of your document. Resize the look as needed either by dragging the borders with the picture to a new location or by using the resizing technique explained here.
If the look you’ve chosen is often a black and white outline, you’re done and may print the coloring page now. However, should you selected a graphic with color, there exists a few more steps to look.
Step 7: With the image selected, open the Format tab under Picture Tools on the Word ribbon.
Step 8: Click about the down arrow close to Recolor to expand that menu, and select the Grayscale option under Color Modes.
At this aspect, in case you are satisfied with the appearance of your coloring page, you’ll be able to stop and print it. However, sometimes the style may still be a little darker and uneven. You can lighten it inside the following step.
Step 9: Expand the Brightness menu, and adjust the brightness to your satisfaction. In this particular example, I chose to boost the brightness by 30%. The amount you choose will depend around the image you’re working with and your individual personal preferences.
Now, the coloring page ends and ready to print. If you want a somewhat more variety, try adding several images for the same page. For some extra fun, print out the images on cardstock paper in order that your hand-colored drawings might be sent out as holiday cards, or use labels to ensure that your kids can color their particular stickers.
